The Opportunity

In 2005, Arik Levy launched Laundry Locker, a locker-based delivery service for dry cleaning, quickly becoming San Francisco's largest with lockers in over 300 buildings.

In 2013, recognizing the challenge of secure package delivery to apartment buildings, he leveraged his expertise to found LuxerOne, addressing this issue with innovative locker solutions.

LuxerOne combined a comprehensive knowledge base in software, hardware, locker systems, delivery logistics, and property management to craft an intelligent package delivery solution, simplifying life for all stakeholders involved. LuxerOne specializes in residential, commercial, and retail smart locker systems for package delivery and storage.

Our Contribution

Roro Solutions teamed up with Luxer on a pilot for one of the top U.S. retailers to tackle shoplifting, especially in California, where theft under $950 is treated as a misdemeanor. To protect high-value products, the retailer used locked compartments that required store assistants to manually unlock them with a key—a slow and cumbersome process.

LuxerOne proposed a tech-driven solution, and Roro quickly built a prototype in just 3–4 weeks. The app allows customers to scan a QR code near the locked products, alerting the store manager, who can verify the request via video surveillance. The compartments can then be unlocked either remotely through the smart locker network or manually by a store assistant.

Sales Calculator
The LuxerOne team were in need of a centralized system for generating quotes, sending contracts, and tracking opportunities. To streamline these processes and keep everything in one place, we developed the "Sales Calculator"—a unified tool designed specifically for their sales staff.

The Sales Calculator is a web application integrated with Zoho CRM. It pulls opportunities from the CRM, maps relevant products, generates quotes, and creates slide deck proposals, as well as contracts. This tool is designed for value-added resellers, Luxer sales representatives, top management, and Regional Distribution Sales Managers (RDS).

App-level assistant
Post engaging in multiple pilot projects, our partnership extended with a focus on two key initiatives: DropLocker and Sales Calculator.

Droplocker, a temporary storage solution powered by LuxerOne, allows for anyone attending events and venues to drop off any item inside a locker. Droplocker ensures 100% convenience in venues where bag policies restrict entry with certain belongings.

Using the Droplocker app, anyone with a mobile phone can communicate with LuxerOne’s lockers, providing instant access to store any item on any locker on the LuxerOne network. With no technical resistance, the Droplocker team and location host can easily request more and more lockers on end. This implementation process facilitated rapid expansion and widespread adoption.

Our team stabilized the DropLocker app to ensure consistent performance. Enhancements included revising the payment module to support a flat fee for one-day rentals. Current efforts involve building an app clip for seamless functionality, with future plans to incorporate support for multiple currencies.
